Cornelia is one of the founding directors in the Property Practice Group of the firm and heads up the Correspondent Conveyancing Department and Finance Department in the Group.
Cornelia approaches each transaction with a problem-solving mentality, ensuring that all the angles are scrutinised and innovative solutions are identified. Taking the extra step is what makes Cornelia effective at her work and why her clients refuse to work with anyone else. In addition to property, Cornelia is also interested in tax law and its implications on property transactions and estate planning. She is currently completing a tax law diploma at the University of Cape Town.
Cornelia served on the Mpumalanga Conveyancing Committee and her knowledge of the deeds office procedures makes her a sought-after specialist in the property sector. Cornelia also enjoys training new employees and is committed to the training of Estate Agents. Her involvement in the management of SDB as a member of the executive committee and marketing committee strengthens the firm through her innovative ideas on marketing and the internal enhancement of staff.
Traveling, interior decorating and baking are part of Cornelia’s hobbies. She enjoys spending time with her family and believes that one needs to give back to the community.
