Proficient in dealing with trusts as well as estate planning, Adél is an associate in the deceased estates and conveyancing division at Seymore du Toit & Basson. Her focus is on the administration of deceased estates, and especially the transfer of fixed properties from the estate.
After achieving cum laude in her B.Com, LL.B and LL.M degrees at the North-West University (Potchefstroom Campus), Adél showed a keen interest in conveyancing and due to her strong administrative skills she developed an interest in deceased estate administration.
Understanding that losing a loved one can be traumatic but that there are still various legal processes to be followed, Adél approaches each client in a compassionate yet professional manner, thereby ensuring that all matters are finalised in an effective yet sensitive way. Taking the extra step is what makes Adél excel and why her clients appreciate her friendly demeanour when she attends to their matters. As a notary public, Adél also assists couples with the drafting of ante nuptial contracts as well as the drafting of their will, which should be a priority when tying the knot.
For Adél, quality of service, a strong work ethic and her reputation is what matters most and that is why she enjoys working with clients on a personal level and why she sets such high standards for herself when it comes to the service she provides.
Adél is currently on the Master’s Committee at the Mbombela Attorneys’ Association and aims to ensure that the communication channels and a good relationship with the Master of the High Court is maintained. Adél enjoys being involved in the firm’s community outreach programmes and is head of the firm’s charity committee. In her spare time, Adél enjoys reading a good mystery crime novel or waiting for the next Star Wars movie.
