Her department focuses on the administration of deceased estates, especially the transfer of fixed properties from the estate to the relevant heirs. After achieving cum laude in her B.Com, LL.B and LL.M degrees at the North-West University (Potchefstroom Campus), Adél joined Seymore du Toit & Basson as a candidate attorney in 2011.  In 2012 Adél was admitted as Attorney and Conveyancer of the High Court whereafter she was admitted as Notary Public in 2013.  Adél showed a keen interest in conveyancing and due to her strong administrative skills she developed an interest in deceased estate administration and deceased estate transfers.

Understanding that losing a loved one can be traumatic but that there are still various legal processes to be followed, Adél and her competent team in the estates department, approaches each client in a compassionate yet professional manner, thereby ensuring that all matters are finalised in an effective yet sensitive way. 

Taking the extra step is what makes Adél excel and why her clients appreciate her friendly demeanour when she attends to their matters. As a notary public, Adél also assists couples with the drafting of ante nuptial contracts as well as the drafting of their will, which should be a priority when tying the knot.

For Adél, quality of service, a strong work ethic and her reputation is what matters most and that is why she enjoys working with clients on a personal level and why she sets such high standards for herself when it comes to the service she provides.  In her spare time, Adél enjoys reading a good mystery crime novel, spending time with her loved ones or waiting for the next Star Wars movie.
